SODS and UAL partner up for Graduate Futures Week 2017!

GFW 2017

We have some great news for you all this week – SODS have joined forces with the University of the Arts London and are now official partners of Graduate Futures Week 2017!

GFW is a week long programme of events designed to help all UAL students get a head start in their creative careers upon graduation. It’ll be taking place from the 3rd-6th July across UAL colleges, and is free to all UAL students, graduates and staff. You can click here to check out their website for all the details.

You can find SODS at the Get Ready to Retailevent at Central Saint Martins, Kings Cross. Our slot is scheduled for 5pm-6pm on Tuesday 4th July – register by clicking here today!

If you’re a student at UAL – graduating this year or not – this is a great time to find more about the creative world of work and speak directly with industry experts as well as former graduates who were in your shoes not so long ago.

Last year, attendees benefited from a huge variety of talks and events including:

  • one-to-one career advice meetings
  • business and entrepreneurial advice
  • portfolio presentation
  • confidence and resilience
  • networking best practises
  • applications and opportunities
  • manufacturing for small businesses
  • how to utilise social media to find jobs
  • how to sell your work and make a living

Plus a whole lot more.

As you know here at SODS we’re always on the hunt for the latest designers & creators to add to our unique online market place, so if you’re interested in learning more about what we do, be sure to attend the event and come and say Hi!

We can’t wait to meet you all at GFW 2017!
